Coooooling your loft?

I just moved into the Brewery (yay!) and now we're facing a heat wave. And woah is it hot. Anyone have innovative ways in which to cool large open spaces? Like 2000 sq ft of large open space? Air conditioning seems like such a drain on the world and my wallet...
