  most loft buildings have pretty poor sound barriers betweent the units, so most of them don't accept dogs. but check out la weekly and downtown news. good luck.

    I know the lofts in Long Beach allow dogs.

  There are dogs in many of the units in my building (712 S. Santa Fe) and the adjoining complex (2121 E 7th Place Lofts).
  
  The landlords are the sort who will tell you no the first time but then say yes after. (this is true of everything)
