I am in a hurry to get some space downtown (that I can afford) and am finding it pretty hard to figure out the whole scene down there. If any of you have leads or know of openings in loft buildings please let me know!! I'm looking for about 800 to 1200 square feet. Any other advice would be most welcome too.
best,
Matteo

Re: REASONABLE Rental loft space?
Fri, October 12, 2007 - 5:28 PMIT is usually $2-3 per sq. ft. for rentals in downtown
so $1,600 - 2,800/mo
but if you are looking for cheap the best way to do that is to share a big loft.
or get a little tiny one and work with what you got
you can also look for something a little further out from the center of downtown, try north, like up main st, or east on olympic

Re: REASONABLE Rental loft space?
Tue, November 3, 2009 - 8:29 PMmy friends got a place off of 4th in a converted warehouse.
it is the master room, 20 feet x20 feet, ceiling is 20feet high also.
huge space with lots of potential set up possibilities.
the warehouse itself was built in the 1920s and your potential room has a large spread of old school widnows .
Within walking distance of little tokyo, a few hundred yards from bus stop and the i-5.
$1500 month including all utilities, internet.
2 roommates, both musicians between 23-28. Very chill environment, 420 friendly. Sweet dog also lives here, his name is Buddy.
